What is cosplay?
Cosplay is a Japanese terms that originates from the combination of the English words “costume” and “play”.
It basically consists of dressing up as fictional character from manga, anime, comic books, videogames or even your favourite tv show.
Cosplay is not something new, it’s basically the same as masquerades or dressing parties, but it has become a really popular art in recent years.
It started with people attending manga/anime/videogames conventions dressing as their favourites characters, but nowadays there are also lots of comptetitions where people take cosplay really seriously.
And of course, there is also porn.
